Welcome Them!

What brings you to the green product design network?: I'm pursuing a degree in Product Design and I'm very interested in working in the field of sustainable and environmental product/ industrial design in the future.

What kinds of expertise can you bring to the community?: I'm fairly skilled at product design considering my relative inexperience (Sophomore in Community College)
I have knowledge of the affects that modern day product materials as well as the product manufacturing and distribution process have on the environment.
I'm a creative and innovative thinker.

What is your current affiliation?: I'm currently taking design courses at Portland Community College and UO White Stag in Portland.

I'm taking an Environmental Sociology course at PCC which gives me a strong understanding on how the consumer industry of the U.S. have ultimately brought harm to the natural environment of the planet.

I'm doing service learning work this fall with sustainable design firms and the Community Cycling Project (A recycling bike parts organization, which rebuilds bicycles with used parts)
